In August 2024, we got the wheels in motion to what we now call hydracaddie®. Our mission is to fundamentally change nutrition in golf and after twelve months of challenges we launched our electrolyte product in September 2025. The journey so far has been successful, we have received great feedback from golfers across the United Kingdom and want to continue this success by building a community and claiming our position in the golf nutrition space.
Our idea came from the fact that every other sport has some sort of nutrition strategy but for some reason golfers think that sausage roll and sugary drinks are the best way to fuel their game.
To validate the idea we got researching; this was important as we are completely self-funded and did not want to launch a product nobody wants. The first breakthrough came with identifying how electrolytes scientifically improve a golfers distance and accuracy - The results were alarming so we got to work.
The next twelve months carried many sleepless nights with us researching the best electrolytes for golfers, golf nutrition supplements and golf energy bars. After months of supplier networking and product testing, we finally released our Forest Fruits Electrolytes.
What makes us special?
Our key requirement was that we wanted a golf nutrition supplement that had oncourse benefits, in a similar fashion to how olympians may take an energy gel for an endurance race.
